Activities There are many activities offered by the Etruscan Coast: from trips on horseback to boat trips, from sailing lessons to diving, from golf to relaxing at the thermal springs, trips on bicycles, visits to the wine cellars, windsurfing, walks in the woods looking for mushrooms and chestnuts or other fruits in season and in the Natural Archaeological park of the Val di Cornia. We will be happy to tell our guests all about the beauty and the attractions of the area, to organise guided tours, food and wine tasting trips, to recommend and book restaurants, to inform you of the activities of neighbouring areas, festivals, fairs or shows of all kinds.
The surroundings The Etruscan coast has many sandy beaches (Rimigliano Park, Sterpaia, and the Gulf of Baratti are the most important) It is also at the centre of a vast area of great artistic and cultural interest, a few kilometres from the Park of Populonia and Baratti, of Rimigliano and San Silvestro. Just a short distance away there are also the thermal springs Vale del Sole and Il Calidario in the nearby Venturina, famous for their springs of sulphurous water. The main Tuscan cities (Siena, Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano, Roselle, San Miniato al Monte) are easily reached as is Sant’Antimo, unknown to many but a magical place where you can find the real sword in the stone. |
